Appellate Practice

Appellate practice is a distinct type of litigation. It includes the identification and analysis of potential appellate issues, writing briefs, and presenting oral arguments before appellate courts. Our attorneys have extensive experience in evaluating, preparing, presenting and arguing appeals in state and federal courts. That experience encompasses commercial cases, family law matters and wrongful death/personal injury appeals. Korn & Zehmer also offers trial support and consultation to trial attorneys during all phases of litigation, with emphasis on assisting trial counsel on matters such as motions in limine, evaluation and preservation of the record for appellate purposes, dispositive motions, jury instructions and trial memoranda.
